The other night I had the privilege of shooting the Ying Yang Twins concert at JMU for Sparks Entertainment. It was a pretty incredible experience. I’ve done plenty of night club photography, but this was something new, as I wasn’t using a flash. I had a great time tweaking my 300Ds settings to get a variety of shots throughout the night. The 35 mm f/1.8 lens was crucial, as was the D300s’ ability to shoot at a high ISO. Watching Griffin Harrington shoot video throughout the night definitely made me miss the days of shooting video. That used to be all that I did! Perhaps I’ll have to pickup another DSLR for video in the near future….
